Sweet tooth

If you’re thinking about heading to the Magnum Pleasure Store in Pitt St Mall for the first time, I’d suggest you visit after lunch when the queue isn’t ridiculously long. Being a sucker for customised desserts (froyo fans will share the same sentiment), I was lucky to only have to wait 15 minutes for my customised ice cream this week. I had a foolproof, girly topping combination of roasted pistachios, coconut flakes, honeycomb pieces and rose petals – simply divine!

In other sweet news, Gelato Messina has opened up their very first dessert bar in Darlinghurst and I am excited to swing by sometime soon.

S and I celebrated the start of our mid semester break on Thursday evening with drinks at Corridor. It’s a small bar in Newtown next to Kuleto’s that has a cosy atmosphere, fairy lights and plenty of areas to sit back and relax in. We arrived for happy hour and drank ‘sour’ cocktails off their medicinal-inspired menu. I had a Tommy’s Margarita served in an Old Fashioned glass with lots of ice, and my friend had the citrusy daiquiri (both $10). Very good drinks indeed!1459673_10152767478166079_5331962233773661822_n
